# Overview

In ARPGs, player agency is everything. Players control a character's build, equipment, and playstyle, and it is up to them to outwit and overcome the challenges that stand in their way. This freedom of choice is one of the things that make ARPGs so captivating and engaging.&#x20;

Rogue Nation is an ARPG that takes this concept of player agency to the next level. Not only does it provide a vast array of options to customize characters, but it also allows experimentation with different playstyles. As a result, players are always in control of their destinies while having an open platform for experimentation.&#x20;

This freedom of choice and experimentation is what makes the Rogue Nation player experience so unique. Weapons are the most striking example; finding unique weapons and gear can potentially change a character's play style while opening up new opportunities to construct that weapon's *own* legacy.<br>
