# Loadout
The loadout is core to every activity in the game, whether single-player, co-op, or PvP. It all starts with a fun and flexible character and its specific abilities. Players can’t do much without these. After all... what would a Role-Playing Game be without characters?
Next are weapons, which allow characters to deploy general attacks. Last but not least are pets; special other-worldly companions that help take on challenges while boosting stats and adding elemental properties to a loadout.
Each of these elements provides a portion of the power needed to make a formidable hero.
